Our professional studio supports our clients with the digitisation and scanning of  your 35mm slides and negative strips.  Orders can be sent to our office address, with secure tracked postage upon completion.

We have professional scanners that are designed for use with 35mm film strips and B&W negative film strips. With enhanced sharpness and color clarity our strip scanners maintain a DPI of upto  10,000 dpi scanning resolution.  Each scanner has a Dmax of 4.2, and 48-bit color depth as standard to ensure all detail is captured. With the addition of white and infrared LED sources, we can apply dust and scratch removal with ease.  For Archival Standards Requirements we can use Multipass Xposure to make sequential scanning passes in order to increase detail and color rendering.

All slides, negatives and strips are professionally cleaned and digitised to the correct resolution, before entering our post production suite where images are toned and sharpened. We offer options of resolution to suit our clients, all adhering to The National Archive Standards.  If you require a variation of DPI (PPI), please do advise when placing your order.

  • HQ-JPEG10 (upto 4800dpi) - Perfect for consumer viewing on mobile devices, computers and TVs.
  • Publication TIFF (3200dpi+) - Perfect for publications and clients wishing a HQTIFF but manageable file size.
  • Archival TIFF (4800dpi - 6800dpi) - Ideal for historical societies, museums and private collections who wish to archive uncompressed digital files.
