Which tool do I need?
PDF documents
Use a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. If a PDF is very large, allow time for it to open and ensure you have enough free storage.
Audio files
WAV/BWF and AIFF files are often large, high-quality files. Use a compatible media player or audio editor and copy files to local storage before working with them.
Video files
MP4 files are widely supported. Professional files such as ProRes or some AVI variants may require suitable software and substantial disk space.
Photographs & images
JPEG files usually open on most devices. TIFF files are often used for high-quality or archival images and may need an image viewer that supports TIFF.
Please protect your original files
Keep a separate backup of your delivered files. Avoid reformatting a USB drive, changing file extensions or converting master files unless you have first made a copy. If you need files prepared for a particular television, computer, editing system or archive workflow, contact us and tell us what you need to use them for.
