Published Books
Books and publications scanned for digital access, reproduction, searchable archives and eBook production.
Specialist scanning of books, journals, magazines and bound volumes, from everyday publications to fragile and historically significant collections.
We provide professional book, journal and magazine scanning for corporate, heritage, archive and consumer collections throughout the UK. From a single valuable volume to large-scale projects, each collection is assessed and scanned using an appropriate workflow.
Our experienced technicians create a 'once only digital scan', allowing the original books to be returned to secure storage once digitisation is complete.
Non-destructive scanning is particularly suitable for rare, precious and valuable books where the binding must remain intact. Book-Eye overhead scanning systems and archival book cradles allow bound material to be captured carefully without forcing the spine flat.
We can digitise individual pages or page spreads and produce high-quality digital masters alongside practical access files for searching, reading, reproduction and online use.
Our workflows can be adapted to different formats, sizes, conditions and intended uses.
