SCANNING AND CONVERTING ALL DOCUMENT TYPES: Our experienced team will carefully prepare your paper documents, of any size, removing first staples and other media prior to digitisation. We can provide on-demand, back file and on-going (daily, weekly, monthly) scanning services based on your specific requirements. Our scanners have the capacity to scan thousands of pages of paper daily, transferring information from a large bundle of paper to digital, typically as PDF, PDF/OCR, PDF/A, TIFF or JPEG files.
PDF/OCR (SEARCHABLE CONTENT) FOR ON-DEMAND RETRIEVAL: Once the documents are processed the output digital files will be high quality searchable PDFs with OCR (searchable content). As the process starts, paper documents are converted into digital formats for ease of storage, search, retrieval, and use. Scanning software with optical character recognition capabilities process the image files and pull out the required information.
INDEXING - TAKING IT ONE STEP FURTHER: Indexing software optimises text for search by identifying and categorising documents and applying further search criteria to obtain an accurate result. Our services will create and provide a full managed and independant index of your PDF document archive. This embeds an index of the words in the document. Utilising Adobe Acrobat you search the index of documents.
FILE DELIVERY OPTIONS: Once digitised, your digital files will be securely stored on our ShareFile Encrypted sever or in your local server, hard drive or own facility which will allow you to access and retrieve them and download securely.
